LA GRANGE PARK
The village of La Grange Park meanders peacefully along the curves of Salt Creek on one side of town, and on the other, it borders the vibrancy of downtown business districts of La Grange and La Grange Park that attract visitors from all over. Only about 15 miles west of downtown Chicago, La Grange Park offers easy access to all major expressways and the convenience of multiple Metra stations along the BNSF line, including express trains from La Grange Rd. for weekday rush hour service under 25 minutes.
Opportunities for finding the right home are vast in La Grange Park, with condos starting under $200,000 and homes ranging from $350,000 to $1,500,000. Victorian farmhouses, Mid-Century ranches and split-levels, and custom-designed new construction can be found throughout the village.
The village is spread across the western side of Cook County and is served by two school districts depending on location. There are also private schools within the village including St. Louise de Marillac Elementary and Nazareth Academy High Schools and just across the border of the village is the parish of St. Francis Xavier Elementary School.
